New York-Rzeszów Bike

The motorcycle was inspired by cities of New York City and Rzeszów. It was created for a Polish owner originally from the Rzeszów area who now lives in New York. The concept was intended to express his connection and sense of local pride toward both places he calls home.

This idea is reflected in the motorcycle’s unique construction, which incorporates distinctive architectural features of both cities. These are not merely decorative details, but also fully functional components of the machine.

The main design elements inspired by the architecture of each city include:

New York City:

• wheels engraved with Manhattan’s buildings in such detail that individual windows can be seen; the skyline includes the Empire State Building, One World Trade Center, the Flatiron Building, the Chrysler Building and the original World Trade Center towers;
• an exhaust pipe shaped like the Chrysler Building and plated with 24-karat gold;
• an ignition coil cover shaped like the Oculus;
• a front plough inspired by the ruins of the original World Trade Center, featuring the inscription “9/11 Never Forget”;
• a timing cover featuring the New York Yankees logo and plated with 24-karat gold;
• a brass fuel cap resembling a one-dollar coin and bearing the inscription “Rzeszów–New York”;
• custom fuel-tank artwork depicting the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan skyline.

Rzeszów:

• the Monument to Revolutionary Act, the city’s best-known landmark, positioned at the centre of the wheel among the Manhattan buildings and plated with 24-karat gold;
• a seat backrest shaped like the Tadeusz Mazowiecki Bridge, the largest bridge in the city; it reproduces the bridge’s structure, including brass cables attached to the fender, while the motorcycle’s turn signals imitate the warning lights installed on the bridge;
• custom fuel-tank artwork depicting the Rzeszów skyline;
• an air-filter cover shaped like the city’s best-known and most distinctive pedestrian footbridge, with the Rzeszów coat of arms at its centre, plated with 24-karat gold;
• a rear brake light and position light shaped like the Rzeszów coat of arms;
• mirrors shaped like the Rzeszów coat of arms.

All custom-built components were made from brass, steel and aluminium. The wheels, exhaust, clutch cover, timing cover, front brake mount and wheel hubs were additionally gold-plated.
